You just got shot while giving a speech to thousands of people. What do you do?
Most people will get down and wait for help but Theodore Roosevelt wasn't most people.

He was a former US President on his campaign trial for third term in 1912. He gave 20 speeches a day.
A man named John schrack have been following the campaign from a thousand of miles and one day pulled out a revolver and shot Roosevelt in the chest.
Luckily for Roosevelt in his breast pocket he had a copy of a speech he was about to give as well as his steel glasses case, both slowed the bullet and kept the shot from becoming lethal. After being shot and realizing he was fine he said to the crowd,"I don't know wether you fully understand that I have just been shot but it takes more than that to kill a Bull MooseMoose"
He spoke for about 55 minutes in his blood-soaked shirt then he went to the hospital. He got recovered from the shot but ultimately lost the election to Woodrow Wilson who went on to be the worst US Presidents in history.
